Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cedari AI ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website or join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our product, once available, will have its own terms.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist or apply as a design partner, we collect:
- Your email address
- Whether you build AI agents or sell on Shopify
- Which option you chose (design partner or waitlist) and where on the page you signed up
- The date and time you signed up
If you email us, we also keep that correspondence. We don't ask for payment information on this website.
Information collected automatically. We use an advertising pixel provided by OpenAI to measure how our ads perform. When you load a page, the pixel may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and cookie or similar identifiers. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To manage the waitlist and contact you about early access, the beta and our launch
- To review design-partner applications
- To send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to keep the site secure
- To comply with legal obligations
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this website:
- Supabase, which stores our waitlist database
- OpenAI, which provides the advertising measurement pixel and processes the data it collects under its own privacy policy
- Our website hosting provider
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We don't sell your personal information for money. Under some U.S. state laws, using an advertising pixel can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described below.
Cookies and similar technologies
The advertising pixel may set or read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker to stop the pixel from loading. The site and the waitlist form still work if you do.
How long we keep information
We keep waitlist information until our beta program ends and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: use the link in any email we send, or email us.
- Access, correct or delete: email support@cedari.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Opt out of advertising measurement: email us, block third-party cookies, or use a content blocker.
Depending on where you live, including California, other U.S. states, the EU and the UK, you may have additional rights. These include the right to know what we hold, to port it, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Where the GDPR applies, we process waitlist data because you asked to join, and advertising data based on your consent or our legitimate interest in measuring our ads. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
Waitlist data sits in a database that visitors can add entries to but can't read. We limit internal access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
This website is for businesses and professionals. It isn't directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll notify people on the waitlist by email.
